Oliver graduated in music from Durham University and won a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music, winning the Dulcie Nutting Prize. Performances include his critically acclaimed West End debut with the D’Oyly Carte in Yeomen of the Guard and principal tenor with Carl Rosa (touring the USA, Canada and the UK), G&S Opera Company, Opera della Luna and British Youth Opera, Pluto in Orpheus in the Underworld and tenor lead in eleven of the Savoy Operas, the title role in Robinson Crusoe and Njegus in The Merry Widow for Opera Holland Park.

He has broadcast live on Radio 3 and Classic FM, recorded on Chandos and appeared at the BBC Proms, in festivals and cathedrals across Great Britain, Ireland, Singapore, Israel, and Norway and in Spring 2007 a tour with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. He is Director of Music at St Augustine’s, Kensington, visiting staff at Arts Educational, London and a pianist at the Royal Academy of Dance.
