Die Fledermaus is surely one of the world's most famous operettas, and it now gets a glittering new look by the country's best small-scale operetta company. Opera della Luna have earned themselves a matchless reputation, touring the country for over ten years with acclaimed productions of Gilbert and Sullivan and Offenbach, and they now turn their hand to the "waltz king": Johann Strauss, and this most sparkling of scores.
This entirely new, saucy, production is directed - with his own new translation - by Jeff Clarke, and designed by Gabriella Csanyi-Wills: the team that created the company's recent wonderful production of The Mikado.
